Some Clinic Activities

Caring for your pets.

Here is an injured wild Mourning Dove that is being gingerly fed by some knowing and loving hands.

From time to time clients bring injured wildlife to Morningstar because we are a licensed wildlife treatment facility. When the animal's recovery has progressed sufficiently, it is either released back into the wild or placed with a licensed wildlife rehabilitator until it can be released.

Nancy and Tara prepare a large dog for some knee surgery.

We perform many kinds of surgical procedures. Please see the Medical Services page for more information.

Our visiting orthopedic surgeon sets the broken leg of a kitten that was hit by a car.

The kitten is on the Clinic's x-ray machine table so that they can monitor the progress of the procedure. She'll be returned to the operating room when the surgeon is satisfied that the limb is properly set.

From time to time we bring in outside veterinary specialists to perform special procedures when an animal's care requires services beyond those we can offer. This service is completely transparent to the client. You can rest assured that at Morningstar we will see to it that your pet gets the best possible care!

Dr. Hooley and Nancy feed a cat that has lost her appetite.
